Split Ball! Privacy Policy
GOORMGames (CEO PARK JIWON) (the "Operator") values the personal information of everyone who plays "Split Ball!" (the "Game") and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws.
1. Information we collect and how we use it
- Game records: scores, rounds reached, settings, items collected, and purchase status. Stored on your device and used to run the game and show rankings.
- Game user identifier (Toss version only): an anonymous identifier that Toss issues for this game. Used to keep records from getting mixed up when several Toss accounts are used on one device. We do not receive information such as your name or phone number.
- Leaderboard scores (app version): if you are signed in to Game Center (iOS) or Play Games (Android), your total score is posted to that leaderboard when a run ends. The name and profile shown on the leaderboard, and the sign-in itself, are managed by Apple and Google; the Operator does not receive them. If you are not signed in, no score is posted.
- Advertising identifier and device information: advertising ID (ADID/IDFA), device model, operating system, language, and IP address. Used to show ads and measure ad performance, and collected directly by the ad provider.
- Usage records: gameplay records such as tutorial completion, rounds reached, ads watched, and errors. Used to improve the game and handled in a form that cannot identify who you are.
- Payments: payments are processed by Google Play, the App Store, and Toss. The Operator does not receive payment information such as card numbers and only checks which product was purchased.
2. Retention period
Game records stored on your device are deleted immediately when you delete the game or tap Settings > Delete my data. Information collected by ad providers and payment companies is retained according to each company's own policy.

3-1. Overseas transfer
The companies below operate servers outside Korea, so information is transferred abroad while you play. For each company we list the recipient, the items, the purpose, the timing and method, the retention period, and how to refuse.
- Google LLC (AdMob ads, app version)
- Country: United States (including countries where Google data centers are located)

- Items: advertising ID (ADID/IDFA), device model, operating system and language, IP address, and records of ads viewed and tapped
- Purpose: ad delivery, ad performance measurement, and prevention of fraudulent clicks
- Timing and method: sent by the ad SDK inside the app over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) each time an ad is loaded or shown.
- Retention period: in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
- How to refuse: reset your advertising ID or turn off personalized ads in your device settings, and on iOS decline "Allow Tracking." You can still play the game as usual if you refuse; you will see non-personalized ads.
- Apple Inc. (Game Center leaderboards, iOS)
- Country: United States

- Items: Game Center player information (nickname, etc., managed by Apple) and run scores
- Purpose: online leaderboards
- Timing and method: if you are signed in to Game Center, sent through a built-in iOS feature (GameKit) when a run ends.
- Retention period: in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.
- How to refuse: do not sign in to Game Center, or sign out in Settings > Game Center. Your scores simply won't be sent, and you can still play the game as usual.
- Google LLC (Play Games leaderboards, Android)
- Country: United States
- Items: Play Games profile (managed by Google) and run scores
- Purpose: online leaderboards
- Timing and method: if you are signed in to Play Games, sent when a run ends.
- Retention period: in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
- How to refuse: if you do not sign in to Play Games, nothing is sent.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (web version hosting)
- Country: United States (global server network)
- Contact: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
- Items: connecting IP address and access logs (browser information, time)
- Purpose: providing the web game and website, and security
- Timing and method: processed automatically when you access the web version.
- Retention period: kept briefly in accordance with Cloudflare's policy.
- How to refuse: if you do not access the web version, nothing is processed.
4. Your rights
- You can delete the game records on your device at any time with Settings > Delete my data.
- You can reset your advertising ID or turn off personalized ads in your device settings. On iOS, you can decline "Allow Tracking."
- In regions where consent is required, such as Europe, you can choose whether to consent to personalized ads when you first launch the game, and change your choice later.
5. Children
The Game is not primarily directed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. How we keep your information safe
All communication takes place only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Game records do not contain your name or contact details.

Privacy Policy (summary)
We store game progress (scores, settings, items, purchase status) on your device. Ad partners (Google AdMob; Toss in the Toss version) collect your advertising ID, device model, OS, language and IP address to show and measure ads. If you sign in to Game Center (iOS) or Play Games (Android), your run scores are sent to those leaderboards. Data handled by Google, Apple and Cloudflare may be transferred to and processed in the United States (see section 3-1). Payments are handled by Google Play, the App Store or Toss; we never receive card details. We record anonymous gameplay events to improve the game.
